The Integral End-to-End Service Owner, Meetings and Events will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s global meetings and events solutions within a centralized service delivery model.
This includes ensuring seamless service delivery, collaborating with internal teams and vendors, while driving continuous improvement.
The role involves managing vendor relationships, supporting usability, piloting new technologies, and enhancing service quality.
This high‑impact, cross‑functional role requires strong decision‑making in dynamic environments and offers the opportunity to shape integral event service delivery. It is a hybrid position based in Sant Cugat, with occasional international travel.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Act as the central link between stakeholders—event owners, users, IT, vendors, and delivery teams—to ensure platform continuity and usability.
- Manage the full demand process: evaluate, prioritize, implement, test, and release platform enhancements and fixes.
- Lead a cross‑functional team to identify synergies and resolve issues related to meetings and events solutions.
- Collaborate with IT to align technical solutions with business needs, contribute to project execution, and support budgeting.
- Ensure stakeholders are informed about service processes, platform updates, and best practices.
- Oversee vendor operations to ensure effective communication and optimal platform use.
- Pilot new technologies and approaches to improve scalability, harmonization, and service quality.
Requirements
- 7+ years in leading cross‑functional projects, ideally in Big Pharma.
- Hands‑on experience in platform implementation – ideally Events platform/CRM.
- Strong client and stakeholder management.
- Proven success in matrixed, cross‑functional teams.
- Fluent in English; Spanish/German a plus.
- Degree in digital marketing, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Excellent communication, time management, and decision‑making skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, pressure, and dynamic environments.
- Proven experience in events management is a plus.
