Role summary: The University of Hong Kong seeks Senior Secretaries to provide high‑level executive and secretarial support to senior professoriate and clinical staff, handle correspondences independently, coordinate meetings, overseas trips and events, assist in program organisation, process finance matters, and perform other duties as assigned. outside office hours and on weekends may be required.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a field related to medicine and education.
* Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
* Good IT knowledge and competence in office applications including Chinese word processing.
* Strong organisational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team, self‑motivated, attentive to details, and able to handle multi‑tasks efficiently under pressure.
* Formal secretarial training is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
* Provide executive and secretarial support to senior professoriate and clinical staff.
* Handle correspondences with complete independence.
* Coordinate meetings, overseas trips and events.
* Assist in organising postgraduate programmes, research and scholarships.
* Process finance matters.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Contract: Two‑year fixed‑term basis with contract‑end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Compensation: A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus annual leave and medical benefits.
