When operational in 2026, the plant will manufacture Edwards' surgical and transcatheter heart valve replacement technologies and will join a global network of more than 16,000 talented team members and five other production plants. Our new facility in Moncada will welcome up to 1,500 dedicated team members by 2029 across manufacturing, engineering, and several other professional career paths. Hiring for professional positions has started and will continue through the winter and early spring, with specialized training for manufacturing hires beginning in the fall of 2025. /p h3How you will make an Impact: /h3 ul liManage the team to ensure smooth and continuous operations in manufacturing /li liDirect team members and manufacturing activities with overall responsibility of developing systems, planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, recommending and implementing changes to methods through several department managers /li liDrive manufacturing culture, engage staff morale, and ensure employees' safety. /li liDevelop a robust talent development and succession planning in alignment with functional growth strategies across the manufacturing organization /li liCollaborate with network leadership to develop operational strategy. /li liPartner with cross‑functional groups/resources to achieve tactical execution of business objectives /li liSet and lead the implementation of strategic processes that align with key business strategies /li liOversee the implementation of multiple strategic manufacturing project portfolios activities (e.g., BEx initiatives and plant projects) including prioritizing and selecting appropriate projects. /li liLead in identifying risk, developing complex mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolving issues, etc. in collaboration with cross‑functional groups /li liResponsible for site operators technical training team in collaboration with COE /li liIdentify and lead efforts to optimize business processes, define and implement core competencies, by assessing business needs and developing, proposing and implementing solution options /li liCollaborate and align with other plant leadership in driving standardized manufacturing operations programs /li liResponsible for meeting operational performance and strategic objectives (e.g., finance, absorption, manufacturing cost, quality, safety, environmental compliance, MPS targets, capacity) /li liDrive a value stream mindset and culture of continuous improvement based on lean and Six Sigma principles and EW Production System (EPS) /li liOther incidental duties /li /ul h3What You Will Need (Required): /h3 ul liBachelor's Degree in related field /li liSkill levels exceeding the requirements of the Senior Manager /li liDemonstrated track record in operations management /li liExperience working in a regulated industry /li /ul h3What else we look for (Preferred): /h3 ul liProven successful project management leadership skills /li liProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and manufacturing systems /li liExcellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives /li liExpert understanding of manufacturing procedures while looking beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems /li liExpert understanding of related aspects of manufacturing processes and/or systems /li liExpert knowledge of financial acumen as it relates to manufacturing /li liDemonstrated ability to direct teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations /li liAbility to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of manufacturing to the business /li liServe as core partner to senior leaders in Business Units, Functional Groups, Regions and IT /li liStrict attention to detail /li liAbility to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively elevate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization /li liAbility to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment /li liKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and Six Sigma /li liInteracts with senior management, and others concerning matters of significance to the company /li liConduct business and technical briefings for senior and top management and for external representatives /li liRegularly interacts with executives and/or major customers;
