Overview
A leading multinational company in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is seeking a Continuous Improvement Transport Project Management to join its Barcelona offices.
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and implementing technological solutions that enhance our european secondary distribution network operations. You’ll collaborate across teams, drive innovation, and help shape the future of our logistics network.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of 3PL carrier in Europe to be operated through our transport control tower located in Barcelona (Sant Joan Despí)
- Design the to be process based on our standard template models, conducting business process analysis. Build, test and implement live the technical interfaces
- Secure the correct systems set up owning functional specifications for the system
- Support the Integral Process Owners transformation roadmap related to process standardization, aimed at increasing service level and reduce cost.
- Provide technical support to the operational teams during and after implementation of the initiatives related to carrier collaboration models (EDI, Just Transform, Transporeon, Fourkites)
Requirements
- +5 years of experience in Supply Chain, with a solid understanding of end-to-end delivery processes.
- A degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Technically skilled (SAP, BlueYonder TMS and/or WMS, or other ERPs)
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a matrix organization
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage projects and deadlines independently
- A passion for innovation and strategic thinking, with a proactive attitude to achieve desired goals
