Legal Counsel (M / F) – Permanent Contract – Hanshow

Location: Madrid (SPAIN) or Boulogne-Billancourt (FRANCE)

As Legal Counsel within Hanshow Group's Overseas Legal Department (reporting directly to the Director of Marketing Strategy & Legal Compliance), you may also report to the European Regional Manager. Your core responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities

* Contract Management: Drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts such as purchase and sale agreements, distribution agreements, service provider contracts, EPC contracts, NDAs, co-development agreements, licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, etc.
* Dispute Resolution: Handling complaints and disputes involving customers, suppliers, or third parties, coordinating with the Insurance team or external legal advisors as necessary.
* Regulatory Advisory: Supporting complex regulatory matters with significant operational impact, including environmental compliance and product access permits in designated markets.
* Compliance Leadership: Acting as the main contact for competition and compliance issues, including anti-corruption, international sanctions, and GDPR, and supporting the implementation of Group-wide compliance programs.
* Functional Development: Training staff on critical legal topics, managing relationships with external counsel, and supporting external growth initiatives and complex transactions related to business development.

Note: Responsibilities will evolve with business needs and the incumbent’s expertise.

Candidate Profile

* Master’s degree in Business Law (international legal training preferred)
* 1–3 years of experience in-house or at a law firm with a corporate focus
* Preferred expertise in IT and/or energy sector contracts under Spanish and EU law
* Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
* Proficiency in Mandarin or French is an advantage; German, Portuguese, or Italian are also considered
* Demonstrates analytical rigor and meticulous attention to detail
* Strong business-oriented, problem-solving approach
* Proven adaptability in multicultural environments
* Ability to prioritize and align with strategic vision
* Collaborative mindset with cross-functional engagement skills
* Autonomous operation with pragmatic, solution-driven mindset
