For our office in Alcobendas (Madrid), we are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer for Bakery Equipment.
The person in this position will be responsible for:
1. Field service activities in Spain & Portugal, including machine installation, commissioning, breakdowns, preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and service audits.
2. Preparation and planning of customer site visits.
3. Recording of installed base.
4. Operator training at customer sites and webinars.
5. Supporting production line adjustments, settings, and machine/line performance.
6. Technical assessment of spare parts, retrofits, and machine servicing.
You will work closely with the sales team for market awareness and be integrated within the FSE team.
Your Profile / Qualifications
* Engineering degree or FP2 with equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical, and Automation.
* Beneficial: Mechanical background (e.g., industrial burner setting or equipment fine-tuning).
* Experience working with and empathizing with customers.
* Strong understanding of customer needs and requests.
* Organized, with an analytical and hands-on mindset, capable of overcoming obstacles through creative and adaptive thinking.
* 3-5 years of experience in installation and commissioning in the food industry, preferably in bakery equipment.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
* Excellent communication skills, able to interact professionally with internal and external customers.
* Flexibility regarding travel and working hours (frequent travel from Monday to Friday).
* Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written); Italian is a plus.
