Now, they're looking for a Senior EHS Engineer to lead and elevate environmental, health, and safety standards across Iberia.
Your Impact:
As a Senior EHS Engineer, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS policies aligned with Spanish and EU regulations
- Conducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections to proactively identify hazards
- Leading incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Driving a strong safety culture through training and awareness programes
- Monitoring environmental performance and promoting sustainability initiatives
- Acting as a key point of contact with local authorities and stakeholders on EHS matters
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or similar
- Previous experience in an EHS role (ideally within renewable energy or industrial sectors)
- Strong knowledge of Spanish EHS legislation and international standards
- Certified in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 (essential)
- ISO 9001 certification is a strong plus (not essential)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent Spanish with a good level of English.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid setup in Madrid
- Willingness to trave l 40–50% to customer sites across the region
