JOB SUMMARY
This position, based in Madrid, reports to the VP of PR and Communications, with significant interaction with PR heads across business units and global PR agencies. The role involves managing Corporate PR activities, including events and press releases, public affairs, speaking opportunities, CEO and top management interviews, and participation in major events, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Corporate communication: Manage corporate milestones (financial results, acquisitions, hotel signatures, partnerships). Prepare, review, and coordinate global corporate press releases. Develop speeches and talking points for management at conferences, hotel openings, forums, and press conferences. Write and prepare corporate interviews and key documents for top management. Handle crisis management.
* Institutional Relations: Enhance awareness and reputation for Minor Hotels globally. Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on interviews and presentations. Organize and support corporate events such as hotel openings, investor days, and awards. Manage corporate PR plans, awards analysis, and opportunities. Maintain relationships with industry associations and institutions.
* Strategic Planning & Results: Oversee PR results tracking and analysis for the Europe & Americas HUB. Prepare global coverage reports, KPIs, and coordinate reporting with headquarters.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 7 years, preferably in a PR agency focusing on corporate communication.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or diploma in Journalism, Communication, or Public Relations. Fluency in Spanish (C2 level) and English, preferably bilingual. Strong writing skills, proactive, organized, with analytical and service-oriented mindset.
SKILLS
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Team player, responsible, proactive.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Position based in Madrid at the Minor Europe & Americas Regional Office. Currently hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). Temporary employment starting September 1st (maternity cover).
