We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Restaurant Floor Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and experience in managing restaurant operations on the floor. As the Restaurant Floor Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient service, while delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts, bussers and food runners ensuring a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.
* Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring that the team delivers exceptional customer service at all times.
* Maintain a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests, addressing concerns or complaints with professionalism and care.
* Help with the training, development, and motivation of front-of-house staff to maintain high performance levels and uphold service standards.
* Ensure that all front-of-house areas are clean, organized, and meet safety and sanitation guidelines.
* Monitor guest flow, seating arrangements, and wait times to ensure efficient and effective table management.
* Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained for smooth operation.
* Help enforce restaurant policies, including health, safety, and sanitation standards, to comply with regulations.
* Take on the Restaurant Floor Manager's duties in his/her absence, overseeing the team and ensuring consistent high-quality service.
* Contribute to the planning and execution of restaurant events, promotions, and special functions.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, preferably in a similar position.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
* Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house processes, inventory management, and POS systems.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Previous experience in a Spanish or Mediterranean restaurant is a plus.
