I am partnering with an AI driven DeepTech company specializing with offices across Europe who are developing advanced decision‐making systems to solve complex real‐world problems across a variety of industries such as Biotech, Logistics, Energy and many others.
Role: (Senior) AI Research Scientist
Location: London/Paris
Flexibility: 3 days in office, 2 remote (Either location)
Your role:
Drive innovation at the intersection of AI and life sciences, with a focus on RNA modeling, design, and optimization.
Develop and test new computational methods, validating their effectiveness through proof‐of‐concept studies and benchmarking.
Combine traditional bioinformatics approaches with modern machine learning techniques to address problems in RNA design and molecular modeling, while improving understanding of how AI models behave in biological contexts.
Assemble, maintain, and refine high‐quality datasets needed to train and evaluate advanced biological AI models.
Shape the strategic direction of long‐term research initiatives aimed at AI‐powered discovery and therapeutic development.
Lead core scientific research projects, including efforts on protein‐focused AI models, contributing to foundational advances in the company's biological AI capabilities.
Your profile:
Advanced degree (PhD) in Transcriptomics, Computational Biology, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in industry.
Strong programming expertise, particularly in Python, with practical experience using deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or similar tools.
Demonstrated experience applying both classical computational methods and modern AI techniques to solve biological problems, ideally in RNA‐related modeling, design, or optimization.
Solid understanding of biology, biochemistry, or biophysics, including molecular biology principles and the relationship between molecular structure and function.
Proven ability to plan, run, and interpret computational experiments, and to communicate results effectively to scientific and technical audiences.
If this role sounds of interest, I'd love to talk with you!
