Join the Flight on-board SW engineer role at GMV. We are expanding our teams in the space sector.
What challenge will you be taking on? As part of our team, you will participate in the design and implementation of software validation facilities, provide technical support for software implementation, and assist in the selection of appropriate microprocessor tools and platforms. The role involves activities across embedded flight hardware/software, simulation environments, algorithms, and telemetry systems.
Responsibilities
* Define and analyze requirements and interfaces; design architectures and develop software.
* Perform unit and integration tests.
* Execute verification and validation processes and create detailed technical documentation.
Qualifications
* Graduate in Computer Science or a related field specializing in software development and cybersecurity, with training in programming languages used in flight software development (C or C++), and knowledge of real-time operating systems and embedded software development.
* Knowledge and/or interest in embedded flight software, telemetry systems, and related domains.
* Desirable: Software engineering experience based on European Space Agency standards; knowledge of SVF models/components; space-grade processors and buses; temporal and spatial partitioning; cybersecurity principles in the space domain.
