Vanderlande develops software that is deployed in companies like DHL, UPS, FedEx and many more! We're a small team in Barcelona, so you'll have the chance to really make an impact and your talent will be recognized. But you will also have more than 9000 colleagues worldwide, our department includes teams in three different countries and our solution is deployed on all continents so you’ll be able to interact with people all over the world!
Your challenge
As a software engineer, you will join our growing Development Software Center in Barcelona. You will contribute to develop our standard software for the Parcel market in an international team.
Tasks And Responsibilities
* Develop our new standard software suite for Parcel Market with dotnet.
* Suggest on interfaces and architecture improvements that might be done.
* Write technical documentation.
* Keep the code clean and review your team members’ code.
* Participate in the entire software lifecycle, from requirements and design to roll-out.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and system specialists.
* Develop micro-frontend based user interfaces with Angular.
* Maintain and update our CI/CD pipeline.
Your Profile
* Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development
* Knowledge in dotnet with C#, Angular/React with TypeScript, RDBMS, Docker
* Experience with SCRUM and Agile development methodologies
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to influence at various levels
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
* Proficiency in English (B2 or higher)
Preferred Skills
* Experience with distributed computing, cloud-native applications, and enterprise systems
* Knowledge of deploying container-based applications in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes)
