The position 
As a Service Business Developer, your primary responsibility is to drive growth and enhance the overall commercial success of our service business. You will play a pivotal role in driving globally our key growth initiatives and ensuring the continuous improvement of our service offerings. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong blend of business acumen, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the UPS service industry. 
Key aspects of the role - You can be based anywhere in Europe but willing to travel up to 60% of the time. 
Main responsibilities 
Market Analysis 
- Dentify potential areas for service expansion. 
- Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead in the market. 
Business Strategy 
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the service business. 
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business strategies with overall company goals. 
Partnership Development 
- Define the relevant business model to grow Service together with our current AEGPS partners 
- Negotiate and establish mutually beneficial agreements to enhance service offerings. 
New Business Development 
- Analyse & leverage our Installed Base to develop new offerings 
- Work closely with Product Management teams to prepare future growth on new products 
- Identify and drive key growth business opportunities 
Service Improvement 
- Implement processes to enhance service quality and efficiency. 
Financial Analysis 
- Monitor and analyze financial performance related to the service business (what we sell at what margin) 
- Support budgets preparation, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability. 
Integral Team Collaboration 
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product Management, sales, and operations, to achieve common business objectives. 
Qualifications and requirements 
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering & Marketing, 
- 10 Years+ experience in business development, preferably in the service industry & in the UPS sector. 
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
- Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively. 
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and objectives. 
- Familiarity with dynamics CRM software and other relevant tools.
