Main Purpose of Job
To manage stock levels in theatre.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Ensure the availability of theatre stock
- Ensuring availability of theatre charge sheets
- Ensure the maintenance of stock holding processes in the theatre
Required Education
- Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Desired: None
Required Experience
- Essential Minimum: Stock control experience in a private hospital environment
- Desired: Working in a theatre environment
Required Job Skills and Knowledge
- Stock replenishment processes and relevant policies
- Stock holding processes and relevant policies
- Surgical product knowledge
- Pharmacy policies and procedures
- AS400 system
- Prosthesis / implant products knowledge
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
