Responsibilities include:
* Installing, servicing, and maintaining GPI machinery at customer sites.
* Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and control issues, including overhauls and upgrades.
* Participating in machinery testing, debugging, start-up, and development of new carton designs.
* Building professional relationships with customers and resolving equipment or service issues proactively.
* Collaborating with sales and manufacturing teams to address customer needs and support new projects.
* Applying continuous improvement techniques to enhance equipment productivity.
* Participating in process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
* Using IT systems effectively.
* Training customers' staff on safety, operations, and maintenance.
* Preparing reports, schematics, and documentation to support field activities.
* Reporting on project progress to stakeholders.
* Conducting audits and assessments of machine performance.
* Liaising with OEMs on joint projects.
Requirements and skills:
* 4+ years of experience or training in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of packaging equipment is advantageous.
* Technical education in industrial or mechanical engineering.
* Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and PLC schematics.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement methods, e.g., Six Sigma.
* Willingness to travel across Europe on short notice.
* Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Strong reporting skills and a full clean driving license.
