Overview

The Digital Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and customer success within an assigned territory by owning and managing direct customer relationships and strategically engaging with key partners. This position combines full-cycle direct sales accountability with joint go-to-market execution to expand market coverage accelerate deal cycles and increase market share.

Responsibilities

1. Own and manage a defined territory of existing and prospective customers to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

2. Develop a territory business plan that identifies key accounts growth opportunities and partner collaboration strategies.

3. Build and maintain strong trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders at multiple levels

4. Lead end-to-end sales cycles from qualification and discovery through proposal negotiation and close.

5. Collaborate with marketing presales and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer engagement and post-sale success.

6. Drive joint business planning and pipeline development with channel reseller and system integrator partners.

7. Enable and coach partners on company's solutions positioning and value propositions.

8. Execute co-selling motions with partners on target accounts and opportunities

9. Mentor coach train and provide feedback to other team members; may provide feedback to leadership on technical abilities of team.

10. Provide accurate pipeline forecasting and territory reporting to leadership.

Basic Qualifications

11. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

12. Experience as a territory sales manager at a SaaS company

13. Microsoft Windows and Office proficient

14. Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact

15. Strong organizational multi-tasking and time management skills

16. Strong collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with all levels of employees in other areas

17. Strong Microsoft Excel skills

18. Strong leadership sound judgement and business acumen skills

19. Strong facilitation and project management skill

20. Strong interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department

21. Strong data gathering interviewing and analytical/problem solving skills

22. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

23. Strong ability to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation of new ideas and design solutions

24. Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with minimal oversight

25. Able to thrive in a fast paced deadline driven environment

26. Strong attention to detail

27. Demonstrated ability to influence motivate and mobilize team members and business partners

28. Strong ability to develop and use engaging informative and compelling presentation methodologies

29. Strong ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact

30. Strong ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus

31. Ability to work independently and in a team environment

32. Ability to coach mentor and provide feedback to team members in a timely manner

33. Strong knowledge of systems administration

34. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and products
