THE ROLE :
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing inbound and outbound inventory management, logistics operations, and the coordination of the warehouse team at the Badalona production facility. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, based at the offices located within the production plant.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervise the receipt of goods, ensuring quality and quantity control; organize efficient storage using FIFO methods and proper labeling; plan and execute regular inventory counts; and participate in both internal and external audits.
Assign daily tasks, train staff on safety procedures, storage standards, and equipment usage; monitor performance through continuous feedback; and promote a collaborative and productive work environment.
Plan warehouse layout and product distribution to optimize space utilization; ensure cleanliness and order; and implement preventive maintenance routines.
Monitor stock levels, anticipate replenishment needs, manage timely restocking, and identify obsolete or near-expiry products.
Coordinate order management with the purchasing department; supervise goods receipt and verification; and manage all related documentation to ensure full traceability.
Resolve inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and shipping delays, as well as manage claims with suppliers and customers efficiently.
Ensure proper use of warehouse management systems (SAP), maintain accurate records, and generate reports to support informed decision-making.
THE PROFILE :
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar role.
Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory software, and data analysis tools.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail, setting priorities efficiently and optimizing time.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with different departments, suppliers, and customers.
Fluent conversational English is required.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
