Job Description

Role

* The Access Manager ensures and maximizes patient access to Gilead products in Middle East countries.
* Develops and implements the Pricing and Market Access plan, including supporting value documentation and materials.
* Monitors regional health policies and regulations, identifying risks and opportunities.
* Provides guidance and support to commercial teams on market access topics.
* Manages public tenders within the territory.

Key Responsibilities

* Builds effective relationships with stakeholders involved in access : payers, purchasers, hospital pharmacists, formulary committees, insurance companies, and health policy stakeholders.
* Develops pricing and reimbursement strategies to optimize the value of Gilead products, collaborating with various functions and aligning with EMEA and corporate guidance.
* Assesses market access environment and competitive landscape.
* Engages with global / regional pricing, reimbursement, and access teams.
* Adapts health economic models to support strategic decisions.
* Develops innovative pricing schemes, access programs, and business cases.
* Implements pricing and access strategies.
* Prepares and manages product submissions to formularies.
* Develops and updates value dossiers.
* Utilizes epidemiological data to support negotiations and evidence generation activities.
* Generates evidence (economic evaluations, outcome studies) to support product value propositions.
* Develops communication tools for payers and monitors access program implementation.
* Manages product lifecycle pricing, forecasting, and mitigation plans.
* Maintains essential databases and tools : stakeholder mapping, pricing regulations, prices database, tenders database.
* Collaborates with HQ and regional teams for planning and reporting.
* Builds relationships with global / regional market access colleagues and contributes to cross-functional brand planning.
* Provides guidance and support to regional teams, including developing pricing / access schemes and tracking product access status.
* Leads cross-functional account management strategies and implementation.
* Maintains expertise through literature review, conferences, and meetings.
* Trains and supports cross-functional teams on market access and economic topics.

Profile

* 6-8 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in Market Access or KAM roles.
* Strong understanding of pharmaceutical legislation, policies, and health economics.
* Degree in pharmaceutical sciences, economics, or related fields; Master’s preferred.
* Proficiency in English, Microsoft Office, and excellent communication skills.
* Proactive, diligent, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
