Job Responsibilities:
* Deliver all indirects annual targets in line with the procurement strategy for the region, managing spend of approximately $150m.
* Design and implement Indirect Category Sourcing Strategies for the region in collaboration with Global Category Managers.
* Develop local procurement strategies for business subscription to 3rd party service centers.
* Develop, coach, and manage Individual Development Plans for the Indirect Procurement Team.
* Champion Strategic Sourcing and share methodologies in monthly knowledge sharing sessions.
* Build relationships and credibility with Business Stakeholders, leveraging procurement early in the process.
* Consult with category managers to understand market developments and leverage scale and volume with suppliers.
* Participate in Monthly Category Review Boards.
* Negotiate with suppliers on price increases and communicate new prices.
* Drive, deliver, and implement initiatives with business stakeholders.
* Manage Contracting, Supplier Performance, and Relationship Management.
* Ensure active stakeholder participation and communication/training plans for the categories.
* Contribute to global and regional procurement projects and initiatives.
* Influence and drive procurement spend to support Responsible Sourcing Targets.
* Manage and direct the team of Indirect Specialists to meet priorities.
Experience and Skills:
* Procurement experience, with management exposure preferred.
* Strong negotiation skills across external suppliers.
* Experience with legal contracting.
* Professional procurement expertise and commercial acumen.
* Mentoring and facilitation skills for team development.
* Ability to challenge, influence, and work cross-functionally.
* Self-starter with multitasking ability.
* Knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement trends.
* Advanced negotiation skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* Project management skills.
