We're rindus, a People company. We love IT professionals and our passion is to help and empower our crew to get the best out of themselves, unfold their full potential, and help them grow.
Because growth is in our mindset, we're doing it since 2017, closely with our German Partners, helping them shape their software development teams.
OBI is one of the largest multinational home improvement supplies retailing companies. It is headquartered in Cologne (Germany) and operates 650 stores in Europe, of which 351 are in Germany. You will work in a distributed team from our office in Málaga (Spain).
We develop a complex internal web application based on Java and Angular in an AWS cloud environment. We are not looking for a pure tester, but for a technical partner to our developers - someone who elevates our quality standards to the next level and loves automation.
Test strategy & automation: You are responsible for quality assurance for the backend (Java) and frontend (Angular). Your clear focus is on automating test cases (end-to-end, integration, API) and reducing manual effort.
You work closely with the team, understand the application lifecycle, and integrate QA components into our CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
You establish a strong quality mindset within the team. You coach developers on writing better tests (unit tests;
60%) and provide technical support when QA know-how is lacking.
Test pyramid: You make strategic decisions about which tests should be implemented as unit, integration, or E2E tests.
Monitoring: You monitor production issues and ensure that bugs are efficiently reported (Jira) and resolved to minimize side effects when introducing new features.
UX/UI focus & exploratory testing: You bring a passion for excellent user experience. Ideally, you have an eye for design details or a strong interest in developing expertise in UX testing. We prefer candidates who not only test software technically but also perform exploratory testing to uncover usability gaps. You are a senior QA professional for web projects and do not require lengthy onboarding into methods and processes.
Familiarity with test reporting frameworks and build an automation project from scratch
Very strong knowledge of Java (for backend tests/API tests).
Good knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript (for frontend automation with Angular).
Experience with common automation frameworks. Frontend: Ideally Playwright, but Selenium or Cypress are good alternatives, REST Assured, JUnit.)
Backend/BDD: Experience with Gherkin using Java (or other similar languages).
Confident handling of GitLab CI/CD pipelines (It would be a plus if they know how to integrate tests into a GitLab pipeline.)
Experience with AWS environments.
Solid SQL skills (PostgreSQL) for data validation.
Proficient use of Jira and Confluence.
You understand complex business logic and translate it into test scenarios (Definition of Done).
Being part of a dynamic and highly motivated international multicultural team of skilled professionals.

Flexible schedules with core working hours.
DKV private health insurance from day 1.
