How can you help us?
Support the administration, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SAP S/4HANA landscape to align with evolving business and technical needs. This role is essential for system stability, integrity, and security through proactive performance tuning, upgrades, and collaboration across IT teams to optimize operations, manage integrations, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Main responsibilities
* Install, configure, monitor, and maintain SAP S/4HANA systems, including application servers, databases, and integrations.
* Analyze and optimize system performance, including memory management and workload balancing.
* Perform upgrades, enhancement package installations, and SAP notes implementation with minimal business impact.
* Implement and manage SAP security settings, user roles, and authorization profiles according to governance policies.
* Handle escalated issues related to SAP system performance, access, and errors.
* Troubleshoot incidents, application failures, and system misconfigurations.
* Monitor system health proactively, resolve failures, and manage integration with other enterprise applications.
* Maintain technical documentation and collaborate closely with functional SAP teams, IT infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
Skills and competencies
Background : Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field. Experience in SAP consulting/support roles. Project management experience is advantageous.
Competencies : Knowledge of SAP CALM, SAP BTP, SAP CPI, understanding of business processes, proficiency in English (C1+), knowledge of German or Spanish is valuable.
Others : Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills; effective communication; self-motivated and responsible. Position can be based in Spain or Germany.
