A leading multinational technology company providing services to the energy sector is seeking to hire a
Sales Manager
to develop the European market.
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager to drive commercial expansion in the renewable energy sector across Europe. The primary mission will be to acquire new clients (“new logos”), selling our digital twin platform and inspection solutions to owners and operators of large wind and solar farms.
This role requires a professional with deep sector knowledge, autonomy, strong commercial vision, and the ability to engage directly with operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the
full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing.
Identify new business opportunities
with major wind and solar farm operators in Europe.
Understand the renewable energy ecosystem
and effectively “speak the language” of technical and operational stakeholders.
Identify customer needs and clearly articulate the technical and commercial value of the platform.
Conduct hands‑on product demonstrations, including drone operations when required, and lead POV (Proof of Value) projects.
Provide market, competitive, and trend insights to internal teams.
Collaborate in RFX processes and work closely with cross‑functional teams (product, technology, marketing).
Communicate customer feedback to support product development and improvement.
Requirements
5+ years
of proven direct sales experience in the wind or solar sector, ideally selling services or technology to large enterprise clients.
Strong understanding of wind and solar farm operations, key stakeholders, and asset‑management workflows.
Hunter mindset, results‑oriented, and capable of generating new opportunities from scratch.
Ability to communicate technical and commercial concepts clearly to international audiences.
Ability to navigate complex customer environments and adapt the commercial approach as needed.
Educational background in engineering, economics, or finance (preferred). xpzdshu
Based in Europe, ideally near a major transportation hub.
Willingness to travel
approximately 30% of the time.
