Role: Delivery Manager
The Delivery Manager is a key business and technical leader responsible for managing delivery, governance, and people for solutions developed by multiple agile teams. The primary goal is to align business needs with IT development and operations for large-scale IT solutions.
The Delivery Manager oversees the entire product delivery lifecycle, playing a vital role in helping teams deliver value. Responsibilities include planning development processes, conducting management reviews, and solving problems. Active involvement throughout the development lifecycle by the Delivery Manager is crucial for team success.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the IT Delivery Lead, guiding teams toward successful outcomes.
* Optimize development lifecycle processes using delivery metrics.
* Contribute to backlog refinement activities to align business and IT needs.
* Ensure business objectives are understood and agreed upon by key stakeholders.
* Prepare development status reports for portfolio reviews, including milestones and external dependencies.
* Manage budget responsibilities.
Qualifications and Achievements:
* Over 3 years of management experience in IT environments, leading large teams (20 FTE).
* More than 2 years of experience in cloud, IT solutions, or business transformation.
* Over 3 years of experience in agile environments; experience with Full SAFe is an advantage.
* Experience in transforming delivery units.
* Agile mindset and a caring, performance-oriented attitude.
* Medium level of general IT overview.
* Advanced software development skills.
* Experience working in international, multicultural environments.
* English proficiency at least at B2 level; German language skills are a plus.
