Offer Description
The Department of Aerospace Engineering (DAE) of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), Spain, is seeking expressions of interest for an Assistant Professor position. The ideal candidate will have a background in Aerospace Engineering or a related field, with up to 6 years of postdoctoral research experience. The candidate's expertise should align with or complement the Department's strengths.
* Teach approximately 100 hours per academic year, including regular courses and supervising BSc and MSc theses.
* Develop a competitive research program in Aerospace Engineering.
* Contribute to building research funding proposals.
* Publish in high-impact journals.
* Advise PhD theses.
General Duties
* Engage in management, representation, and dissemination activities typical of faculty members.

Additional Information
Contractual conditions:
* Gross salary range: 30,000 - 40,000 € per year, depending on experience.
* Additional salary supplements may be available based on productivity and excellence.

* Initial contract duration: 3 years, with potential extension up to 6 years pending positive reviews.
