Overview:
The Project Manager's is the responsible person for a project lifecycle taking responsibility for budget, schedule, closure of project and customer management.
The PM coordinates the effort of our Design, mechanical, electrical, Controls, Software, suppliers and selected subcontractors with the customer for a successful project. The PM's success will depend increasingly on his/her leadership, communications ability and performance, and ability to manage the details of multiple projects.
The technologies used range from high-level automation (AS/RS, AGV's, high speed sortation, conveyors, palletizers, etc.) to conventional products (workstations, rack, pick modules, fabricated carts, vertical lifts, etc.)
General Duties:
· Supervision of current projects ensuring consistent management.
· Detailed financial control to minimize deviations. Weekly review of financial metrics for managed projects.
· Manage project schedule. Overall planning of internal and external resources for project execution and support phases.
· Accurate review of proposals, contracts, and new orders. Approve supplier invoices related to the project.
· Responsible for project correspondence and submittals and communicate with stakeholders. Represent the entire project team to customers.
· Anticipate problems and take proactive action.
· Support site supervisors in the field.
· Document and present project "lessons learned" for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
*
o 6 years' experience in Technical Project Management. Experience in Automated Material Handling preferred.
* AutoCad and MS Project proven experience
* Strong interest in technology and process optimization
* Solid communication attributes
* Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus
* Ability to travel overnight estimated at 50%
* Advanced English.
