Company Description We are Vamani Overseas, an Indian garment company specializing in high-quality production for third-party brands. We’re looking for a Head of Account / Senior Fashion Designer to join our talented team at our studio, located in the heart of Barcelona.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Account / Senior Fashion Designer located in the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area. The Head of Account / Senior Fashion Designer will be responsible for managing one of our most exciting accounts.
You will be responsible of :
Lead design projects for one of our key accounts, managing two designers in Spain and two in India
Ensure top-quality products through innovative design, trend awareness, fittings, embroidery, and fabric selection
Apply creativity and attention to detail to meet fashion standards and trends
Coordinating and preparing presentations / meetings with our clients
Travel internationally (UK every 1-2 months, India 2-3 times a year)
Coordination with management / merchandising to ensure the account grows as expected
Additionally, this role will oversee team management, providing leadership and direction to the design team, and collaborating closely with various departments to ensure the successful execution of fashion projects.
What we’re looking for
5+ years of relevant experience as a fashion designer
Excellent knowledge of soft woven fabrics and womenswear
Ideally have worked with Indian product before
Fluent or native English (interview conducted in English)
Experience working with suppliers and brands such as Inditex, H&M Group
Highly organized and capable of working independently
Strong eye for style, taste, and commercial trends
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
Based in Barcelona, Spain, working on-site (mandatory)
Knowledge of AI in fashion design is a plus
