Mission
Identify, assess, and structure new development opportunities (PV, wind, hybrid, and BESS) in Spain, ensuring the inclusion of high-quality MW in the pipeline and a smooth handover to the Development team.
Additionally, carry out the origination of inorganic opportunities for PV projects with batteries and/or wind projects, assessing acquisitions, co-developments, or strategic agreements with third parties.
Responsibilities
* Market prospecting and deal-flow generation (developers, land agents, local partners).
* Origination and evaluation of Greenfield and inorganic opportunities (PV, PV+BESS, wind).
* Preliminary analysis: land feasibility, access/connection scenarios, environmental and financial risks.
* Collection and validation of financial model inputs and review of the model outputs in coordination with the investments team.
* Support in the negotiation and structuring of agreements (NDAs, MoUs, LOIs, co-development, partial acquisitions).
* Coordination with BD Engineering, Environment, GIS, Commercial, Product, and Legal for technical and risk validation.
* Preparation of internal documentation for approvals and orderly handovers to the Development pipeline.
* CRM/tracker updates and periodic reporting on pipeline and origination KPIs.
Job Requirements
* Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Economics, or a related field.
* Approximately 8–10 years of experience in M&A renewable energies opportunity analysis.
* Experience in transactions and handling key elements of financial models.
* Strong knowledge of the Spanish regulatory framework.
* Negotiation skills, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Native Spanish and a high level of English.
