An important technology company specializing in software development and digital transformation is seeking to incorporate into its executive structure an:
IT DIRECTOR
Responsibilities:
- Define, lead, and execute the general IT strategy, ensuring full alignment with business objectives and the overall corporate strategic plan.
- Establish and oversee the IT governance framework, including policies, standards, and procedures focused on risk management, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives (cloud migration, automation, data analytics, infrastructure modernization, and cybersecurity enhancement).
- Lead and develop the IT team (managers, architects, cybersecurity, and infrastructure specialists), fostering a high-performance and innovation-driven culture.
- Manage the IT budget end-to-end, optimizing resources, overseeing technology investments, and ensuring ROI control.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Committee and key stakeholders, acting as the technology reference in strategic forums and executive presentations.
- Oversee the IT project portfolio, ensuring on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners.
- Define and supervise the cybersecurity strategy, ensuring data protection and compliance with relevant regulations and international standards.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, automation, cloud, data, etc.) to strengthen the company’s competitive advantage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or postgraduate studies in Technology Management are highly valued.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions (Director level).
- Proven experience leading cybersecurity strategy, defining policy frameworks, and overseeing or participating in incident response plans.
- Strong background in managing large-scale IT projects within complex organizational environments.
- Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, software development, data management, and cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and automation.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving organizational change.
- Fluency in English.
- Strategic mindset, strong business acumen, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in complex corporate structures.
