CVE Program Manager Responsibilities
1. Represent Procurement in the PLM process ensuring early involvement of Procurement and guidance of stakeholders related to Procurement specific topics, such as ordering lead times or cost out initiatives.
2. Act as focal point of CVE and P in the respective Program and Platforms coordinating all tasks and deliverables within Procurement.
3. Establish and maintain overview of program/platform cost transparency throughout the PLM process.
4. Act as the Procurement one point of contact for development topics - establish and coordinate the communication.
5. Own and deliver Procurement deliverables within the PLM process.
6. Maintain overview of cost out initiatives and coordinate/ensure the inquiry of supplier quotations to validate cost out potentials/business case.
7. Actively contribute to the product development process regarding cost reduction measures.
8. Closely align with R&D community.
9. Include suppliers and maintain Supply Chain Concepts, contributing to cost-benefit analysis workshops, innovation workshops and concept competitions with key suppliers.
10. Coordinate sourcing decisions with interface partners in order to incorporate technological know-how and safeguard security strategies.
11. Participate in workshops and contribute to projects in order to stay informed and keep others informed and exert influence at an early stage.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or similar
* Min 5-7+ years of experience in the relevant field
* Fluent knowledge of English, both written and spoken; German, Spanish and Danish would be advantageous
* Strong communication skills
* Analytical thinking
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, TeamCenter, SAP, PowerBI
* Wind industry experience, as well as knowledge of the Siemens Gamesa 4.X and 5.X turbines would be an advantage
