brAbout the role
brAs a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental standards in accordance with corporate guidelines and current legal regulations. Your goal will be to ensure a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment, leading continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a preventive culture throughout the plant.

brYour responsibilities
brEnsure compliance with regulations related to occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and industrial safety (ATEX, SEVESO, etc.). Manage environmental permits (air, waste, wastewater). Monitor legislative changes and adapt them to the plant.
brDefine the EHS strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
brDevelop and maintain EHS management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001). Manage documentation, including the preparation of procedures. Lead internal and external audits. Identify non-conformities and define corrective actions.
brMaintain relationships with regulatory authorities and external auditors.
brConduct occupational risk assessments and environmental impact assessments. Identify risks and implement control measures. Prioritize critical risks and reduce their impact.
brDesign and deliver EHS training programs. Conduct onboarding training for new employees. Keep the training and competency matrix up to date.
brLead safe behavior programs (Vestacy System Observation). Promote a “zero accidents” culture.
brInfluence management, supervisors, and operators. Promote individual accountability for safety. Lead the integration of EHS into business decision-making. Attend Health and Safety Committee (CSS) meetings.
brCarry out daily plant inspections. Monitor compliance with procedures in production.
brConduct incident and accident investigations. Ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
brDevelop emergency plans. Coordinate drills. Act as a leader or advisor in crisis situations.
brManage contractors. Ensure contractors’ compliance with EHS requirements. Coordinate contractor activities (CAE).
brEnvironment and sustainability: implement plans to reduce environmental impacts (waste, emissions, energy consumption, water use). Monitor environmental indicators.
brReport metrics for KPI calculation. Prepare reports for Corporate.

brRequirements
br~ Higher education in Occupational Risk Prevention, with a specialization in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Ergonomics.
br~+5 years of experience in a similar role
br~ Knowledge of fire protection legal requirements and systems; familiarity with FM General standards is a plus
br~ Proficiency in MS Office (local and cloud-based tools)
br~ Electrical certification is a plus
br~ High level of self-discipline and results orientation
br~ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement business-optimized HSE solutions
br~ Very good command of English

brDesirable Qualifications:
brTraining in ADR Safety.
brTraining and experience in Legionella management.
brTraining and experience in auditing management systems (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001).
brExperience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
brExperience in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
