Functional objectives:
- Act as business partner and advisor in all HR related matters for regional management considering legal and tariff regulations
- Maintain thorough familiarity with all corporate HR policies and procedures and monitor all corporate HR processes to ensure HQ / Sales office / Plant compliance with them and respond to requests for HR measurable.
- Participation in all recruitment and selection processes for staff positions and management positions including technical specialists working with well-defined guidelines
Main Tasks:
- Work with managers to support, advise and guide on employment legal matters
- Process staff related regulations, agreements and policies, e.g. company agreement with works council in cooperation with HR Director / Plant Manager
- Fulfil legal requirements by information and determination with works council and authorities
- Develops, implements and advises on disciplinary procedures and actions in line with Regional HR Management
- Maintain regular contact with union and works council representatives
- Plan, proceed and advise in cases of redeployment
- Conduct area surveys to determine rates of pay, fringe benefits and availability of labour for tariff and non-tariff employees
- Deal with staff transfers in and out of the organization
- Process termination standards as appropriate and perform individual terminations single-handed
- Acts as contact person for local HR Director in the region regarding selection and recruitment of account/building/site employees, including attendance on job interviews and representing the company on job fairs
- Prepare and issue employment contracts for new employees including fulfillment of all legal requirements, also in terms of work permit and residence permit and ensure necessary paperwork is processed as appropriate
- Involved in processing for training and development of direct, indirect and salaried staff and employee involvement and motivation
- Coordinate and process annual HR actions and policies, such as, Ethics Certification, Merit Increase, Salary Planning (SIP) and Bonus calculation
- Analyse and provide Headcount, Forecast and Budget planning data in close cooperation with regional management
- Calculate, provide and ensure correctness of main accrual data in all HR related fields, e.g. pension, vacation, early retirement
- Monitor turnover of employees for causes of turnover and recommend programs and policies to help minimize turnover
- Provide the Regional Payroll Centre with all data necessary for payroll to be implemented on time and ensure People Soft data integrity
- Phone or visit employees on long term compensation leaves
- Actively participate in regional or integral projects, e.g. WRN, CLC, CSR
- Know the payroll process and calculation according to Spanish legislation.
What We Look For
- _Required qualifications_
- University degree in Business, Labour Relations and Human Resources or related field or comparable education
- Minimum 4-5 years in HR fields
- Solid knowledge in labour law and relevant tariff agreements
- MS Office ( Advanced knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Spanish bilingual
- Advanced English communication skills (B2)

- Knowledge ADP & SDP software will be a plus
