We are currently looking for a Modelling & Investment Analysis Specialist to join our Modelling Team, playing a key role in advancing impactful renewable energy projects.
What will your day-to-day look like
* Work closely with the team to lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of PV and BESS projects.
* Prepare and manage complex financial models for investment analysis and risk assessment.
* Develop accurate energy models of battery energy storage systems.
* Collaborate with engineering, energy and operations’ teams to implement optimized energy solutions in the models.
* Collaborate with the Structured Finance and M&A teams to implement optimized solutions in the financial models.
* Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and external stakeholders, communicating key findings, recommendations, and insights effectively.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering, Energy Systems, Applied Mathematics, Physics or a related field.
* 5 years’ experience in modelling with focus in the economical and financial valuation of renewable energy projects in all the Development-to-Operation stages.
* Knowledge, training, or professional experience of power systems and renewable energy.
* Knowledge, training, or professional experience of project finance, is a very valuable plus.
* Proficiency in Excel and Python.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities
