The Planning Manager for the fleet will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing land transport fleet utilization to ensure on-time deliveries, operational efficiency, and cost management. The role involves proactive resource allocation and issue resolution.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and overseeing fleet utilization plans on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
* Coordinating vehicle and driver assignments based on load, routes, and priorities.
* Monitoring fleet condition and liaising with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
* Analyzing operational data and KPIs for route, time, and cost optimization.
* Preparing reports and dashboards using Power BI for management and other departments.
* Collaborating with traffic, logistics, operations, and customer service teams to align planning with demand.
* Managing incidents and schedule changes to ensure service continuity and customer satisfaction.
* Ensuring compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and driving/rest time rules.
Requirements:
* Academic background in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or Vocational Training in Transport and Logistics.
* At least 5 years of experience in planning and managing land transport fleets.
* Technical skills in Power BI, transport management systems (TMS), and route planning.
* Personal skills including adaptability, analytical mindset, decision-making under pressure, and excellent communication.
* Intermediate to advanced English proficiency is desirable.
