Ready to take ownership of the on-premise backbone powering our SCADA and DataLayer ecosystem?
You’ll maintain, optimize, and modernize physical and virtual infrastructure deployed across our integral fleet. From redesigning deployment automation pipelines to managing virtualization and server lifecycles, you’ll ensure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence for thousands of renewable energy sites.
What You’ll Do
Optimize & Maintain Infrastructure – Manage and improve on-premise servers, virtualization, storage, networking, and OS lifecycle.
Deployment Automation – Redesign and maintain automated SCADA deployment pipelines using TFS/Azure DevOps Server and PowerShell.
Virtualization & On-Prem Platforms – Operate Hyper-V and Proxmox environments, maintaining VM templates, golden images, and provisioning flows.
Observability & Monitoring – Maintain and extend monitoring with Grafana, Prometheus, WMI, and native OS integrations to improve operational reliability.
Internal Tools & DataLayer Support – Develop scripts and small utilities in PowerShell (or Python/Go/C when needed) to support internal services.
Lifecycle, Security & Reliability – Manage OS hardening, patching, firmware, BIOS provisioning, and maintain operational runbooks and troubleshooting guides. xhfqzwm
Your Superpowers
5–7+ years in Systems Administration, Infrastructure, or similar roles
Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux administration and troubleshooting
Solid experience with Hyper-V and/or Proxmox virtualization environments
Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills (preferred language for this role)
Experience building deployment automation pipelines using TFS/Azure DevOps Server
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals : VLANs, routing, firewalls, DNS
Experience with monitoring tools : Grafana, Prometheus, SNMP, WMI
Experience maintaining custom in-house systems and services
