The opportunity
We are looking for a Solutions Architect to define and drive the technical architecture of strategic solutions in an international environment.
You will be responsible for aligning business objectives with technology strategy, ensuring architectural consistency, scalability, security, and long-term sustainability across solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Define the technical and architectural vision of solutions
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures
• Manage non-functional requirements, including security, performance, scalability, and compliance
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and IT strategy
• Maintain architectural governance and support the evolution of the architectural runway
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, development teams, and business stakeholders
• Coordinate with external suppliers and technology partners
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide technical leadership in decision-making processes
• Support Agile delivery frameworks and architectural best practices
Key Requirements (Must Have)
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar architecture role
• Strong background in solution design and enterprise architecture
• Experience with distributed architectures and microservices
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and security principles
• Experience translating business needs into technical solutions
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or similar)
• Technical degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Fluent English (C1)
• Fluent German (C1 minimum – mandatory)
Nice to Have
• Experience in automotive or industrial sectors
• Cloud certifications (AWS,Azure)• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or similar
• Experience working with international vendors and partners
• Knowledge of SAFe and enterprise architecture frameworks
• Experience leading architecture governance initiatives
