Join our Rolling Stock HUB in Madrid as a Project Engineer – Software Development for Brake Control Systems. In this role, you will be part of a team dedicated to developing and integrating critical software that ensures the safety and efficiency of our cutting‐edge rail vehicles.
Challenges ahead
* Develop and integrate brake control software into rail vehicles, from simulation to commissioning.
* Design software architecture and create project‐specific modules using graphical development tools.
* Plan and execute rigorous software tests to guarantee top‐quality results.
* Integrate control unit software on target platforms and document functionality.
* Collaborate on hardware and software integration for brake control systems.
* Continuously expand your expertise and take on interface tasks to boost software quality.
What will make your application stand out
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Knowledge of rolling stock and structured software development.
Ability to quickly grasp electrical engineering concepts and braking technology basics.
A proactive, problem‐solving mindset and strong communication skills.
Confidence in English within an international environment.
Familiarity with EN 50128/50657 standards.
