We are looking for a IT Junior Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing high-impact complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring their successful delivery by overseeing planning, execution (on time, within scope and budget), risk management and PPMO framework adherence.. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
Project Leadership:
Lead the completion of complex IT and business transformation projects.
Provide project's strategic direction Project Planning:
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans.
Integrate all aspects of the project, including timelines and resource allocation.
Oversee the development of project governance documents, adhering to the PPMO framework
Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the Project Board and other senior leadership.
Risk Management:
Allocate resources efficiently, including budget, personnel, and technology.
Optimize resource utilization across multiple projects.
Ensure transparency, communication, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Act as a liaison between project teams and executive leadership.
Team Management:
Manage diverse project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Motivate the project team and ensure team harmony.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior project managers.
Quality Assurance:
Implement robust quality assurance processes and standards.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
Continuously improve quality assurance practices.
Change Management:
Manage changes to project scope, requirements, and timelines.
Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions.
Lead initiatives to enhance project management methodologies and tools.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, identifying main milestones, dependencies, resource allocation.
Monitor execution and resolve issues proactively, tracing progress against timelines, managing scope changes and impacts, identifying and addressing risks or issues to keep project on track.
Monitor project performance and quality using KPIs and/or other metrics.
Implement and oversee change management processes.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Project Manager or in a project support role, preferably in IT or business transformation projects.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Azure Boards, ServiceNow SPM, Microsoft Office).
PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Experience with managing software development done by third parties offshore is beneficial.
Proficiency in English and intermediate level of Spanish recommended. German, Italian) is beneficial.
Knowledge of project management frameworks and best practices.
Excellent communication and reporting skills to senior stakeholders as well as project team.
Risk management capabilities to identify, anticipate and mitigate risks.
Ability to work on multiple workstreams or projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Budget management and control skills.
Planning, designing and implementing change management activities to transition the organisation and people to the required future state.
Experience with cloud technologies and tools such as Confluence and Azure DevOps.
