Local Unit & Position Description:The policies & transactions team has been recently created and is growing fast. Come and join us !!The role may require international travel (less 20% of time)**Responsibilities will include**:- Leading green ammonia/ methanol pre-feasibility market assessments and market entry studies from bid execution until project closure.- Leading/executing technical due diligences on low carbon fuels, electric vehicles & power generation (waste to energy, biogas, biomass, biofuels, hydropower, CCGT ) from bid execution until project closure.- Designing decarbonization strategies and roadmaps, including policy white papers, government procedures and monitoring tools.- Managing relationships with key external and internal clients all over the region. Good track record of leading, writing & winning proposals is an advantage.- Supporting team engagement through attending related conferences and focus groups.- Supporting clients in designing and implementing programs related to energy transition topics such as GHG footprint, energy management, waste to energy, pollution prevention and reduction, circular economy.Position Qualifications:**Qualified consultants shall have**:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in a relevant discipline (industrial, chemical, electrical or mechanical engineering, energy policies & strategy background, ) from an accredited university.- A minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience in consulting or project management- Experience in low carbon fuels ( SAF, biogas, biodiesel, green ammonia/Methanol ) from a techno economical point of view is a must.- Experience in Due Diligence around power generation assets (biomass, biogas, CCGT, hydropower plants, reciprocating engines ) preferred- Strategic mindset coupled with understanding of policy/regulatory frameworks- Understanding of the energy/oil & gas nexus (economics, interfaces, risks, commercial aspects, tendencies )- Proactive, Hardwork, Resilient and forthcoming attitude- High-level of comfort and proficiency in presentations and workshops- Good writing and communication skills with an eye for analytical and persuasive presentations- Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis capability, including advanced knowledge of Excel and equivalent tools- Advance knowledge of financial modeling with excel (preferred)- Experience in negotiating / managing complex contracts & proposal- Fluency in English & Spanish.
