Gartner for HR Leaders is hiring for a growth-focused Business Development Executive to join our high-performing team. Chief HR Officers (CHROs) must understand how trends impacting the workforce and broader organization will shape their priorities in 2025 and beyond. In this climate, CHROs take action to increase the positive impact that they—and their teams—have on the organization.
Responsibilities
* Seek out and drive new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner organizations across your territory, targeting Large Enterprise organizations from initial outreach to close, including new-to-Gartner prospects and, where applicable, Gartner clients in other areas.
* Convert viable prospects into active Gartner clients, owning the full sales cycle from initial contact and negotiation through to the transition of new clients to the account management team.
* Continually build a pipeline of high-quality opportunities to meet your sales metrics and KPIs.
* Hold quota responsibility for your assigned territory and manage complex, high-revenue sales across matrixed and diverse business environments.
* Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Qualifications
* 5+ years’ B2B sales experience, preferably within complex, intangible sales environments.
* Business development or new-client acquisition experience in a selling role is highly desired.
* Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives.
* Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Proven ability to manage and forecast a complex sales process.
* Willingness to conduct travel as needed.
