The Role:
We are looking for an experienced
Engineering Manager
to lead our growing engineering team in
Valencia. This is a key leadership role where you'll drive technical excellence, foster team growth, and work closely with the
Principal Engineering Manager
to implement cutting-edge technologies and modern engineering methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and grow the Valencia engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.Set and maintain high development standards across all engineering projects and initiatives.Collaborate with the Principal Engineering Manager to implement industry best practices and modern technology stacks.Oversee technical planning, project delivery, and resource allocation.Design and support professional development programs to ensure the team remains current and competitive.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.Actively contribute to recruitment and onboarding efforts to build a strong, diverse team.Ensure clear and effective communication across global engineering teams.
Requirements (M/F/D):
5+ years
of experience in software engineering, with at least
3 years
in a technical leadership role.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience building and managing high-performing engineering teams.Strong hands-on technical background and familiarity with modern software development practices.Experience defining and maintaining development standards and quality assurance processes.Fluent in
English
(spoken and written).Strong people management and mentoring skills, with the ability to balance technical and leadership responsibilities.Solid understanding of
Agile methodologies
and experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.
