Job Description
*
* Lead industrialization projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordination across different departments
* Plan and manage investments in molds, automation, and other high‑value assets to improve efficiency and achieve production targets
* Analyze current and future capacities of the machines and propose modifications of them to be effective and efficient
* Search and implement improvements in machines and processes to make them more efficient, as automation technologies
* Supervise the design, development, and implementation of new molds, ensuring compliance with production requirements and quality standards
* Manage the acquisition and integration of plastic injection molding and automatic machines into the production process, ensuring correct installation and performance
* Validate new products, molds, and materials according to required standards
* Select engineering suppliers and support negotiations and conflict management
* Keep all documentation updated (flow diagrams, PFMEA, control plans, SOPs) according to the latest processes
* Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
Qualifications
*
* Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
* Extensive experience in manufacturing and industrialization processes in injection molding
* Experience in automatic assembly projects, line relocations, new molds, new machines, and automation technologies
* Proven record of first leadership experience managing midsized teams
* Experience with LCM, material changes, and validations.
* Proficiency in executing IQ/OQ processes. xhfqzwm
* Working knowledge with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SAP, SixSigma and inLean Management
* A project management certificate could be an advantage
* Fluency in English and Spanish
