**Your Role**

As a Technical Asset Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing The Ocean Race’s archive of video content and ensuring the smooth ingest of content, and operation of the content storage system during The Ocean Race Europe.

You will be the administrator and key point of contact for the Iconik Media Management System, working with colleagues to ensure that video media is safely ingested and managed, and that content producers can access that media in a reliable and timely manner.

You will also handle requests as the liaison between The Ocean Race and various teams, partners and host cities.

This role is based at The Ocean Race HQ in Alicante.

The Ocean Race gathers thousands of hours of video material, assets which are vital for media and news distribution, social media content creation, documentary production and the delivery of commercial value for our teams, partners and sponsors.

In this context, the role of Digital Asset Coordinator is key, as it allows for these materials to be ingested, organized, and logged.

**Key Responsibilities**

***E**ssential day to day responsibilities**, (which THE OCEAN RACE 1973, S.L. has the right to review, amend, extend and/or reduce as it considers reasonably necessary) will be, and not limited to:

- Play a lead role in creating a new video archive alongside TOR Technology department; creating workflows and file organization systems.
- Check workflows on the Iconik Media Asset Manager system and make full contact with the OnBoard Reporters to receive the files.
- Ingest and organise content from The Ocean Race Europe.
- Check the name convention of the received footage and check the correct permissions has been applied.
- Handle external requests for footage.
- Review of content tagging.
- Support The Ocean Race content team with media organisation and ingest workflows.
- Contact support in case needed.
- Help the editors look for files.

**General Support & Event Contribution**
- Assist colleagues in the production and success of The Ocean Race event (hospitality, events ).
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives, reflecting The Ocean Race’s commitment to ocean conservation.

**Minimum requirements**:
**Qualifications & Skills**
- A degree, qualification or experience in a related field - Information and Content Management, Document Management and Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of existing Media Asset Management systems and logging workflows;
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform technical admin duties.
- Knowledge of different recording video file and delivery formats.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro and AI software.
- Experience with media libraries, including file organisation and logging.
- Fluency in spoken and written English required; French is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- A team player who can also work independently and has initiative.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Be comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing time efficiently.
- An understanding of good file management practice, metadata and media production workflows.
