A fast-scaling enterprise software firm operating in the Cloud-Native Enterprise Applications / SaaS sector. We build robust, customer-facing web and backend platforms that support high-volume transactions and real-time business workflows for international clients. This is an on-site engineering role focused on delivering production-quality software that scales, is secure, and delights users.

Software Engineer (On-site)
Location & Workplace
On-site role based in Benidorm, Spain (with additional on-site openings in Georgia, USA). Candidates must be eligible to work on-site in the selected location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain backend services and APIs using modern, testable patterns to support scalable product features.
- Deliver high-quality, well-tested code—write unit/integration tests and participate actively in code reviews to ensure engineering standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA and UX to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions and sprint deliverables.
- Own deployment pipelines and production releases: automate CI/CD, monitor health, troubleshoot incidents and drive post-incident fixes.
- Optimize performance and cost across services—profile, tune queries and improve response times for live traffic.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, document system behavior and mentor junior engineers to raise team capability.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience with 2+ years building production software.
- Strong programming skills in Java, or Python for backend service development and RESTful API design.
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres/MySQL) and familiarity with at least one NoSQL datastore.
- Practical use of Docker; exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with Git-centric workflows, CI/CD automation and automated testing frameworks.
- Fluent English communication skills and ability to work on-site; authorization to work in the role location.
Preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and microservices architecture at scale.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog) and distributed tracing.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures, message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ) and CQRS patterns.
- Spanish language proficiency (for Benidorm-based teams) and prior on-site cross-functional collaboration experience.
