Role Purpose

To have a detailed understanding of the Logistics Business from a technical and operational perspective for internal and external customers. Act as an IT consultant at key stages of a project and provide possible solutions. Analyse and capture business requirements, specify enhancements or development work. Lead and support IT projects that do not require entry into the DHL PMO database. Test application functionalities and train users to a level of competence in the system. Serve as the main interface for Customer IT managers and manage relationships with IT Service Providers.

The Key Responsibilities for You as IT Analyst Include

- Ensure that the assigned user community is functional and can operate the business with minimum disruption, providing out‑of‑hours cover as required.
- Undertake general systems housekeeping.
- Provide application functional support and L1 for all system‑related issues & queries as the interface between Business Operations management, Customer IT management and the IT team to improve system performance, functionality and efficiencies.
- Schedule and run Application Management routines.
- Ensure that DHL & Customer company policies are applied where applicable.
- Define requirements for, and facilitate the creation and maintenance of, required IT documentation. Deliver appropriate IT training to operational super users.
- Work with third‑party service providers & partners, both internal & external.

Requirements for the Job

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT role: implementation, maintenance and/or roll‑out projects.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Solid knowledge of networking protocols, security principles and best practices.
- Good command of office packages, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and convey technical information to non‑technical stakeholders (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Detail‑oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in documentation and system configurations.
- Team player, versátil and curious.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications and Information Technology or a related field (such as Industrial Engineering).
- Fluent in English & Spanish.

Preferred Requirements

- Experience in logistics processes.
- Stakeholder management.
- Change management.
- Databases and client access to them (Oracle, SQL, Web technologies).
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.
