- Test planning, implementation of test analysis, and test prioritization.
- Design and improve how we write, store, update, and run test cases.
- Build test scenarios and large amounts of test data.
- Work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Run test cases to certify builds, new features, etc.
- Clearly report test progress and results.
- Certify and sign off on stories/releases.
- Detail-oriented for end-to-end manual and automation testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects early using defect-tracking tools.
- Join the agile team, attend their stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
- Explaining technical issues to non-technical teams.
- Time management for critical task deliverables.
- Independently prioritize work and be self-motivated.
- Assessment and improvement of working methodologies and processes.
Education in IT or Computer Science.
- Ability to understand and analyse large volumes of data and identify anomalies and inconsistencies in the data.
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies and Software Testing Lifecycle.
- Previous QA Analyst experience at Technology Company.
- Experience in UI and API functional, non-functional, and regression, types of testing.
- REST API testing, validation of endpoints, and making sure software components are properly integrated
- Understanding of HTTP protocol, JSON, and XML.
- UAT testing experience working on data analytics, back-end testing, and test case creation for customers.
- Fast learner and flexible to Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, and work with different Tools and Techniques.
- Be an advocate of Quality Assurance and Best Test Practices.
- Ability to work as a Team player with local and offshore teams.
- Ability to be self-motivated during strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the Project Life Cycle and Agile Methodologies.
- Experience with Atlassian stack - Jira/Confluence to manage, document, and track issues.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written English.
