The IT Manager will play a critical role in overseeing Scilife’s technology environment, including managing all applications, hardware, and infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and security across the organization. This position involves serving as a super administrator for all applications, supporting user access and technical issues, and leading strategic IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cybersecurity, infrastructure management, and User Access Management (UAM).
Key Responsibilities:
Application Administration
* Act as the super admin for 60+ applications, managing and provisioning user access.
* Maintaining and updating list of users of department wise application with the owners of applications
* Assist employees in setting up applications and resolve access and tech issues as needed.
* Enforce multi-factor authentication across applications to strengthen security.
* Ensuring on time Renewal of applications
* Manage vendor relationships of each application, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality service and software provisioning.
Onboarding and Offboarding Support
* Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes across applications to ensure timely and secure access.
* Manage employee hardware setup, distribution, and troubleshooting for smooth onboarding.
User Access Management (UAM)
* Serve as the main point of contact for UAM, managing user access issues and providing ongoing support.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
* Develop, implement, and enforce security protocols to protect Scilife’s data, systems, and networks.
* Ensure all IT policies and practices adhere to relevant legal and regulatory standards.
* Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with Scilife’s business objectives.
* Stay updated on technology trends and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Infrastructure Management
* Oversee and maintain all hardware, and software systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
* Lead planning and implementation of upgrades, installations, and replacements to maintain high standards.
* Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality service and software provisioning.
* Monitor the IT budget, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
Support & Troubleshooting
* Oversee IT support, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues across departments.
* Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing guidance on best practices.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT management or a related role.
* Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.
* Demonstrated experience in managing IT projects from planning to implementation.
* Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
Skills
* Proficiency in network administration, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity tools.
* Knowledge of ITIL practices, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile), and cybersecurity standards.
* Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations.
Additional Requirements: Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, ITIL) and availability for on-call support as needed.
