MISSION- Lead the SW Development project team to reach cost, quality and timing goals set by the customer ensuring that technical and functional requirements are being met along the project lifecycle.GENERAL FUNCTIONS- For the project, define the scope of work, plan/monitor/adjust the project activities/outputs to reach quality, timing and cost goals according to Software Development processes during Software Development lifecycle.- Manage and prioritize Software Development activities and goals according to management directives and report relevant information to the team members.- Identify and monitor the Software Development goals of the project, taking actions to correct deviations, and evaluate their feasibility with available resources and constraints.- Plan resources needed in Software Development activities, escalate them and report risks/efforts to the Software Development Supervisor and the Technical Project Leader.- Estimate Product Change Requests from customer and Software Development requirements analysis (including CSR) and technical review preparation.- Manage Software Development project risks and execute contingency and/or mitigation actions.- Give support to Technical Project Leader to communicate closely to the costumer, especially on managing customer specific requirements (CSR) and report timings, risks and efforts if required.- Approve and deliver Software Development product releases to the costumer.- Create and manage escalation of project issues if necessary, until closure.- Assure proper coordination in cross-team activities during the Software Development in the project.- Ensure team members have the necessary skills, knowledge and experience and request to the Software Development supervisor a training plan accordingly, including training needs for managing customer specific requirements (CSR).- Ensure execution of R&D; processes and usage of standard tools.- Monitor and report the progress of the project to Software Development Supervisor, Technical Project Leader and Quality Assurance Leader ensuring their appropriateness and accuracy and take actions to correct deviations.- Ensure execution of Lessons Learned Process and encourage the team to identify process and Software Development technologies/products improvements.- Ensure Software Development project budget is not exceeded.- Observe FICOSA’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.- Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering FICOSA's values.- Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OSHE rules, ensuring they are properly used.- Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OSHE and Quality department.(*) The described functions are the most representative for this position and are in no way a comprehensive list.(**) The scope of responsibilities may be enlarged according to the specific responsibilities of the roles that this position can undertake in the project. These roles are identified in Job Description Document (013-QA-XX-XX-04) and the responsibilities are defined in Roles Document (013-QA-XX-XX-02).POSITION REQUIREMENTS**Academic background**: University Engineering Degree (mainly in Electronics, Software or Telecommunications) or equivalent experience.**Languages**: Fluent in English (written & spoken)**Experience**: 5 years of experience in engineering development positions**Travel**: Availability to travelOTHER SPECIFICATIONS**Additional training**: Knowledge and experience regarding management skills, specific automotive software development tools, and applicable standards (such as Automotive SPICE, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity) would be of additional value.**Additional Languages**: Other language would be desirable according to the project / business
