About the Role
As a Fabrication Follow Engineer you will support structural steel modules and panels fabrication for Poland, Bulgaria, US, and any other future plant. This is a full-time job.
You will report to the Large modules senior manager and be located at our HQ in Madrid. This is a hybrid position.
Main Responsibilities
Provide engineering support and oversight of the large structural steel modules and Shield Building panels fabrication support for AP1000 European and US Domestic plants.
Improve of products and processes to support fabrication of these modules.
Work with the FFE Team, provide answers to fabricators' Request For Information (RFI). Also review shop drawings, address non-conformance requests, and support the fabrication of the steel modules in any other way.
Coordinate with Supply Chain Team, providing updates of the tasks to support fabricators to the FFE Leads.
Engage with partners, supply chain, and WEC senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Civil/Structural or Mechanical engineer.
At least 1+ years of experience in structural steel design and support to fabrication.
Knowledge on structural steel design and codes. US Codes (preferred but will learn on the job).
Knowledge on welding design and codes. US Codes (AWS) (preferred but will learn on the job).
Experience with European and US nuclear quality standards and engineering change control processes (preferred but will learn on the job).
Organize and delegate work and ensure that you complete deliverables on time with high quality.
Good team building skills with the ability to engage with all partners.
Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Proficient level of English.
