We are looking for a Piping Engineer, for one of our clients, an engineering company in the oil and gas sector located in Madrid and Bilbao.
The selected person will be in charge of :
* Definition of 2D piping layout drawings.
* Participate in the definition of piping classes (PSI, DIN, etc).
* Material selection and sizing.
* MTO preparation.
* Generation of isometrics.
* Involvement in procurement / purchasing phases (supplier selection / validation, evaluation of technical proposals, etc).
* Stress and force calculations.
* Design / revision of supports.
* Be able to deal with all applicable work specifications, piping classes, standards and work instructions that may be necessary for the correct development of the assigned work.
* Perform required stress calculations per work instructions and project specifications.
* Perform and transmit to the Mechanical Department the design orientation, shape and load of pipe tension clamps and nozzles.
* Cooperate with piping designers in the selection of optimum routes to simplify stress design and assembly work.
* Verify comments and follow up on piping surveys and drawings for correct inclusion of stresses and civil requirements for stresses.
Requirements :
* Completed technical engineering.
* Experience of 5 to 10 years in a similar position.
* Specialty in Structures (metallic and cement / concrete).
* Medium / high level of English.
