Lead Architect ServiceNow
Responsibilities
Solution Architecture: conception and development of future-proof architecture and solution designs on the ServiceNow platform.
Project Leadership & Technical Guidance: technical lead in implementation projects from requirements analysis through to go-live.
Standards & Methods: build and evolve architectural standards, design patterns, best practices, and QA processes.
Innovation & Enablement: identify trends (AI, Automation, Integration, Composable Architectures, Agentic AI) and advance technical portfolio.
Pre-Sales & Scoping: technical advisory in early project phases, support proposal processes and client meetings.
Mentoring & Team Building: coach consultants and developers, shape the tech team.
Core Team Collaboration: closely collaborate with founders across delivery, portfolio development, and internal processes.
Qualifications
3+ years designing, architecting, and implementing ServiceNow solutions (ITSM, CSM, HRSD, App Engine, GRC). Certifications such as Certified Technical Architect, Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, ITSM Certified Implementation Specialist, CSM Certified Implementation Specialist, Service Provider Implementer.
Solid understanding of platform architectures, data models, integrations, and API design.
Ability to combine technical excellence with pragmatic execution.
Experience collaborating with clients, project teams, and pre-sales.
High quality standards and enjoyment of improving others.
Excellent English (C1) and German skills a plus.
Strong communication skills at all levels.
Understanding of ServiceNow within complex enterprise architectures (ERP, CRM, cloud systems).
Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL, and frameworks such as TOGAF or SAFe/Agile.
Expertise in change, release, and configuration management of the ServiceNow platform.
